Code of Conduct
Draft v1 — co-authored with founding hosts at launch. Versioned at 2026-06-01.v1.
The big idea
OffMenu is a non-play platform built for the ENM, poly, kink, queer, trans, and broader alt-lifestyle communities. Events are for socializing, education, and community-building — munches, mixers, potlucks, workshops, and discussion groups. No play, no sex, no recruitment for play. Events that violate this get removed and organizers warned or banned.
Identity and privacy
Treat scene names and real-name privacy as sacred. Do not out anyone — on or off the platform. The fact that someone attends an OffMenu event is not yours to share without their consent.
No solicitation
We don’t have DMs, but that’s not a loophole. No recruiting for play, no pitching paid services, no MLM, no business fundraising disguised as networking. If you’re unsure whether something qualifies, ask.
Show up
Punctuality and reliability matter. Don’t ghost an RSVP without notice. Hosts plan around the numbers you give them.
Hosts are not your matchmakers
Hosts run events. They’re not your therapist, concierge, or matchmaker. Respect their boundaries the same way they respect yours.
Bigotry
Harassment, racism, transphobia, ableism, queerphobia, and similar will get you banned. This is non-negotiable.
Tell us when something’s wrong
If you see something, report it. Every event, every user, and every comment has a Report button. We can’t fix what we don’t know about.
Hosts agree to
- You are responsible for your event’s safety and conduct.
- Follow this Code of Conduct, and enforce it at your event.
- Do not host play events under any disguise.
- OffMenu can suspend, remove, or relabel events at our discretion.
